The brand's app works well and so does this

Already have their food dispensers and know the tech is reliable, so this was an easy addition. The fountain works just as well: easy to clean, quiet, motion sensor that conserves battery, stainless steel tray that doesn't harbor bacteria. The water stays moving so it doesn't stagnate and the dogs drink more from it than a standing bowl. One thing to know going in: you'll need their filters. That's the ongoing commitment with any fountain system. Make sure the filters are in stock and at a price you're comfortable with before committing.Live for pets that actually drink more water when it's movingLaff at the cat who figured out the motion sensor and games it for entertainmentLurv a brand where the tech actually works across all their products

Great Fountain, But I Prefer Plug-In Models

This is a well-made pet fountain that works exactly as advertised. It's quiet, the motion sensor functions well, and my pets had no trouble using it. I also like the stainless steel drinking tray since it's easy to keep clean, and the cordless design gives you a lot of flexibility in where you place it.My only real complaint is that it's rechargeable. While the battery life is respectable, I found myself having to remember to charge it, and that's just one more thing to keep track of. Personally, I prefer fountains that stay plugged in so I never have to worry about the water stopping because I forgot to recharge the battery. That said, if you specifically want a cordless fountain or need one where an outlet isn't convenient, this is a great option. It's well built, works reliably, and the rechargeable design will likely be a benefit for many people—it just wasn't my personal preference.

Rechargeable wireless & holds 3liters of water, nothing more to be said- perfect!

Honestly, I’m so happy with this cordless pet water fountain—and more importantly, my cats are completely obsessed! They took to it instantly. It is so cute watching them lap up the fresh, filtered, running water all day long.It has been an absolute lifesaver during these scorching summer months to keep them cool and hydrated. The big selling point here is the rechargeable battery. I’ll admit, I was skeptical about the motion-activated sensor at first. I usually prefer fountains that run continuously, so the start-and-stop stream felt a little weird. But after seeing it in action, I totally get the design choice. The sensor keeps the pump from draining the battery, which actually makes the cordless feature usable. A full charge gives me a solid couple of days of power. Even so, I usually just keep it plugged into the wall. I’m a bit paranoid the battery will die while I’m not looking, and I definitely don't want the fur babies running out of water. The 3-liter tank size is another huge win. When I fill it up to the max line, it holds more than enough water to keep both my cats happy for a few days. It saves me from constant refills and makes my daily routine so much easier. This also came with a few extra filters, which is always nice to have.

Very convenient

I’ve been using this cat water fountain for a while now, and I’m very happy with it. It’s super quiet—you can barely hear it running. The water stays clean and fresh, and my cat drinks much more water than before. It’s easy to set up, simple to clean, and the battery life is excellent. The quality feels sturdy, and the design looks great in my home. Overall, this is a great purchase and definitely worth the price. I would absolutely buy it again and highly recommend it to other pet owners!

Convenient cordless option with a few design quirks, but my pets love it

Overall, I'm happy with this cordless pet water fountain, and more importantly, both my cat and my pug took to it right away. They seem to enjoy having fresh, filtered, running water available throughout the day, especially during the hot summer months. One of the main selling points is the rechargeable battery. At first, I wasn't a huge fan of the motion-activated water stream because I generally prefer fountains with continuous circulation. However, after using it, I understand why it was designed this way. The motion sensor helps conserve battery life, making the cordless feature much more practical. On a full charge, the battery lasts me a couple of days, which is reasonable. That said, I've chosen to leave it plugged in most of the time because I don't want the battery to run out without me noticing and accidentally leave my pets without fresh water. The 3-liter capacity is also a plus. When filled to the maximum level, it provides enough water for both my cat and my pug for a couple of days before needing a refill, which makes it convenient for everyday use. There are a few design choices that could be improved. The appearance is a little unusual and doesn't really blend in with my home décor. It's not unattractive, but it definitely stands out more than most pet fountains I've owned. I also found that the charging cord is tucked into the power base in a way that makes it somewhat difficult to unplug when switching between plugged-in and cordless use.My biggest concern is that the instructions specifically state that the power base is not water-resistant and should not get wet. That seems like an odd design decision for a product that's intended to sit underneath a pet water fountain, where accidental splashes are almost inevitable. I would have preferred at least some level of water resistance for added peace of mind. It has been getting wet regularly, and I haven't had any issues yet, but I am weary.Despite those shortcomings, the fountain performs its primary job well. It keeps the water filtered and fresh, runs quietly, holds a good amount of water, and most importantly, encourages both of my pets to drink more. While there are a few areas where the design could be refined, I'm still satisfied with it overall and think it's a good option for anyone looking for a rechargeable, cordless pet water fountain.

Super portable, rechargeable, beautiful, but not made for longevity.

I have three cats, I want them to drink more water, and I have limited outlets that can have a fountain continuously plugged in. I really like the Molly&Cody fountain, but I also feel like it's not going to last a very long time.Pros:- Looks great. The look is sleek and modern. Once the battery base is charged, the whole thing is completely wireless.- Very large drinking surface at a raised height that works well for adult cats.- The fountain is incredibly quiet even when it's set to continuously run.- Option to have it run only when motion-activated, to save power.- Incredibly portable, you can place it basically anywhere, and have it run without a need for an outlet or any worries about tripping over wires.Cons:- Thin, bendy plastic sides. It's pretty obvious that the sides are the point of failure on this fountain. It will probably last 2-3 years before it starts cracking- Filters must be replaced every 10 days, and you only get 3 of them in the package.- There doesn't seem to be an easy way to take the pump apart for cleaning.- The base with the battery is not designed to get wet. A cat is going to do some stupid acrobatic stunt that's going to spill water at some point, they're cats, it's what they do.- The plastic sides aren't as easy to clean and disinfect as stainless steel. The drinking surface itself is stainless steel, which is great, but everything else might act as a surface for biofilm.Overall, I still really love the concept and design of this. I will absolutely use this fountain for a few years, but the second the plastic starts to show signs of wear or chipping or permanent staining, I'm going to toss it for something made for more longevity.
