6L Camera Feeder Won't Connect to Wi-Fi
The 6L Camera Feeder needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for setup and app control. It cannot be added using a 5 GHz-only network.
Try these steps
- Connect your phone to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If your router combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one name, temporarily separate the network names if setup fails.
- Place the feeder close to the router and confirm that the Wi-Fi password is correct.
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone and turn off any VPN during setup.
- Reset the feeder using the method in its own manual, then try adding it again in the correct Molly&Cody app.
What to keep in mind
A mobile hotspot may work in some cases, but a stable home 2.4 GHz network is recommended for daily use. Router and phone settings vary.
Still need help?
If the network check still fails, send the error screenshot, your phone model, router setup details, and a short video showing the feeder's indicator during setup. Contact Molly&Cody Support.
